Why are we getting stuck in our conversations? Is there a way out?
Frustrations and anger are often the result of a conversation that went wrong! The workplace is full of small talk, and formal conversations. Individuals and groups interact on so many levels that sometimes it is not just the work that they are engaged with, but rather the relationships and context that they are negotiating every minute of the day. Join us for a one-day workshop and learn best practice research and practice in conflict management. This is a highly interactive workshop designed to build on the knowledge in the room, enable learning and practice of new tools to facilitate difficult conversations. Participants will acquire new techniques to analyze a situation, reflect on their own role and identify ways to move the conversation forward.
APPROACH: Highly interactive, small and large group work, role plays
At the completion of the workshop participants will:
- Assess sources and dynamics of conflict
- Examine conflict management tools and frameworks
- Demonstrate tools to improve communication
